Kasserian Ingera!

That’s the Maasai greeting… kinda like Aloha is to Hawaii.

Hey! Good luck!
When exactly are you going? And who with, since you said TWO 16-year-olds.

Thanks! Well, I’m in contact with an Englishman – I haven’t met him yet and at this point that’s about all I know about him – who’ll be going
a week earlier to spend a few days with a local king’s cattle…to South Africa first, then I’m only joining him with thetribeKenya portion, so you could say I’m just tagging along.I’m doing a project for school next year on the topic of my choice, and I couldn’t come up with a downside to the trip, so agreed to go. We’ve agreed to make a documentary, and if all goes according to plan, I’ll be left with a great trip, a good essay topic (a little bit of an understatement), and a trip to the Great Wall to present it at a TEDx-related event in China
next yearin October.A pretty good way to fill up a summer, eh?
Thanks again for the comment – I really don’t get enough… or so I think,
Taylor

Ok, official dates:Trip begins August 14th, and I’ll be flying in on the 25th to join in on it.
September 1st is when we head back home.
Alright, these ARE the official dates:
We’ll both be going into Kenya on the 14th, spending a week working on a reserve, then we’ll be going into the Maasai tribe for a week. *This still might change*
But I do know for certain that we’ll be coming back on the 1st of September.
